There are two great interviews I just watched for the first time recently.

The first interview was with John Inman during one of his many trips to America.

In the interview he discusses the show, how it got started, his character, and how David Croft invited him to do the pilot.

He also discussed Grace and Favour, saying it was actually highly successful with fans and that there should have been a season 3. In fact, he goes through the potential storyline Jeremy Lloyd had been preparing for the first episode of the third season - I had always wondered if they had already written some or all of the third season ahead of time.

However, to be completely honest, I did not like the premise of the new episode. My hope was that they continued to nurture the relationship between Mr. Humphries and Mavis going forward, however Lloyd's idea went in another direction. It was only an idea at this point though; the actual script might have been much different.

It is one of the longer interviews and John Inman covers quite a bit of ground.

The second interview was with Gordon Peters, who was on two episodes of AYBS (S3E4 and S4E1) and also one episode of Grace and Favour (S1E4).

He is most famous for playing the husband of the lady who tries on the blue dress in S4E1.

It is a much more recent interview that was conducted online as opposed to in person. He discusses his roles and also his interactions with the cast both on stage and off stage.
