Thanks, water-spraying phone handset - You gave Mr. Harman a good chuckle and Mrs. Slocombe a good bath in S7E4.

@admineml2 In the episode it looks like they came from the display stand.....however it's more humorous to think they're the long lost "knickers" that Mavis is looking for during one of the first episodes of Grace and Favour, when the staff find out that she's sharing a bed with Mr. Humphries.

In fact, an even better explanation is that they're the "jingling knickers" from S7E2, which Mrs. Slocombe wore once and then put back on the stand without anyone knowing.

Thanks, large painting of Mr. Grace overlooking the boardroom. You kept your eye on so many outlandish activities over the years.

Thank you, Mrs. Slocombe's aerodynamic motorcycle-side-car hairdo in S4E1....you certainty kept things flowing smoothly on the ride to work that morning, not to mention maintaining the job security of the hairdressing department.

Thank you, lady's powder room. You provided Mrs. Slocombe with such a colorful assortment of beverages to get her through her day.

Thanks, fake snow that never melts on top of the staff's clothes during S5E1. You allowed the staff to get a free round of coffee from Mr. Rumbold that morning.

Big thanks to the folding wall bed in S10E6 for providing Mr. Spooner with a much needed bathroom break.

Thank you, sign-in book for recording so many morning arrival times that may or may not have reflected the actual clock on the department store wall.

Big shout out to all of those canteen flies, providing such an authentic atmosphere to the lunch room and very kindly helping the staff finish off the leftovers on their plates.

Thanks Mr. Grainger's tie that keeps getting caught in the till, you gave Mr. Grainger some much needed rest while waiting for Cpt. Peacock to come over and open the cash register.

Thanks to all those wonderful fake telephones that often didn't even need to ring for the staff to know someone was calling and pick up the phone.

A second big thank you for allowing all those long phone calls from Mr. Humphries to his mother during working hours.

An extended appreciation for the broker who is still (in 2024) holding the stock position that Mr. Lucas initiated from the board room in S2E5 "Hooray For The Holidays".

He bought "Harrods" in 1974, which is still in business today as a luxury department store in London. As of 2024, the broker has now been holding that position for exactly 50 years.

Legend has it that Grace Brothers forgot about it (or never recorded it in the first place) after the staff moved to Millstone Manner, and that patient young broker legally inherited the entire position after no legal claim was ever made. He continued to hold the parent company's stock even after Harrods itself delisted from the exchange and privatized.

At the end of 2024, he finally sells it all, donates half of it to charity and retires very well off in 2025.
