For starters, I'd buy the electric blanket that kept Mr. Lucas' feet warm during the episode S2E2 "Cold Comfort" - Lol. He got it from the electrical department, so I would need to find which floor they're on and "make a foray" there like he did.

I've had several already, but perhaps they were even better back in the 1970s.

Hopefully mine will come with a plug, whereas Mr. Lucas had to find one himself.

After finishing, I would avoid the canteen and instead indulge in the actual restaurant referred to in the show that is somewhere on a higher floor than the ladies and gents department.

On a side note, I would also just take the stairs when going up and down............

I'd also buy the display from S4E5 that says "I like it, I like it, I like it!".

I would also stop into the toy department and buy one of the train sets that Mr. Grainger was demonstrating in S5E2.

In fact, I might ask management to have Mr. Grainger come down and show it to me, then give him a nice commission/tip afterward.

Actually, maybe THIS is where Mr. Grainger went after the end of season 5. That's the real reason Mr. Tebbs took over.

Instead of retiring, he actually DOES request a transfer to the toy department, only this time he gets to remain a senior instead of being a junior, and then eventually retires with his full pay grade and pension.

For the holidays in 2023, I would buy some of the decorations from both departments in the episode S3E9 "Christmas Crackers" and put them up around the tree. For gifts, I would buy Cpt. Peacock's funny glasses and Mr. Grainger's big ears that they put on during their Christmas dinner.
